Oh boy, where to begin with this one. It’s long, it’s dramatic and it’s the finishing page of the backstory arc. Now you know how Doug developed his Poképhobia, what Giovanni did to gain his Gym Leader position and even how Gary Oak become the embodiment of coolness we all know him as. You heard it here first, folks!
And sure, I answered a lot of questions, but you can see I created even more of them still. All will be revealed in time, so stay tuned!

I just going to point out that becoming a Gym Leader doesn’t work like that and even if it did he never at the gym and honestly would been fired after a week.
Though with that said Pokelogic never make sense, the Dex bluntly lies and the cops can’t do what 10 year old kids can.

Note the Team Rocket Dagger in the old Gym Leader chest. He basically unofficially took her place as Gym Leader. It is identity theft, kill someone and take over their lives for benefits you wouldn’t normally have.
Okay, a little clarification. Giovanni didn’t become a Gym Leader just by killing the previous one, it wasn’t identity theft either. That was just to create an opportunity, so the League has to look for a new Leader. Also… there’s more to be revealed later.
Wow… Just…wow. I might find words later, but for now, just…wow.
