And so begins the [Insert Chapter Title Here]. I’m sure you all remember fighting all these Pokémon in the game, Team Rocket doesn’t mess around. Good old Divide And Conquer…
With the strongest fighter beaten almost to death and the team members lost in the Mt. Moon’s caves, is it the end of our heroes’ journey? And what does Steen have to do with Mewtwo anyway? Stay tuned!

You just love your gen 6 cameos huh? Makes sense though since Steen would have a Huge advantage on it. Nice!
Just call it a pet peeve but we haven’t even gotten the 6th gen games so that 6th gen cameo kinda tick me off for some reason. It seem like you making a original story and somewhat ignoring the one the game had so I guess in your case it doesn’t matter much and I’m just being butthurt over nothing.
The main reason behind Malamar being here wasn’t actually me wanting a 6th gen cameo for the sake of it – I needed a strong Psychic type that villains like Team Rocket would use. Dark/Psychic combination seemed perfect (we still don’t have Poison/Psychic which bugs me) and the Pokédex even says Malamar are often abused by bad people. Though yes, double weakness against Bug types was also a factor. Anyway, the cameo is already over, thanks, Steen.
And about the rest of the Pokémon? Well, in the Yonkoma Nuzlocke universe you can find most Pokémon in any region (though the ones from the game are still the most prominent), because I don’t see what Kanto caves have that wouldn’t allow Woobat to live there et cetera.
My issue with the random six gen cameo (and all these other random non-Kanto events) feels like padding.
This comic is already 90+ pages in and the story has not progressed far at all. It right now feels like a lot of build up but not much in the way of payoff.
Foreign pokemons! 🙂
And how much do our main character/s know about foreign pokemon?
what steen knows where mewtwo is!?
he’s now my fav he already whas but more ;D
I have… Mixed feelings with the fight it seemed to rushed VANG DID NOT FIGHT BACK
I like it, the addition of newer pokemon make it stand out along with show how the pokemon world is always “Evolving”
I don’t know why everyone is belly aching now. Bianca showing up is what fully screwed the pooch of this following the actual timeline of the games and keeping things in line with either Fire Red or Leaf Green.
We know the following about the timeline for the Pokemon games:
– The events of Fire Red and Leaf Green happen. Giovanni is deposed as Gym Leader of Viridian City and Team Rocket is disbanded.
– The events of Heart Gold and Soul Silver take place 3 years later, with Giovanni being encountered and defeated because of Time Travel shenanigans at the same time Team Rocket is defeated at the Radio Tower.
– We know that B/W happens after HG/SS because one of the Rockets from HG/SS goes to the Unova region, ends up falling in love and moves to Icirrus City and has a child. There are a few years as the kid grows up.
– B/W 2 occurs two years after B/W, which is where Bianca becomes a Pokemon Researcher. Giovanni as just a trainer (though he’s in the Kanto leader tournament) and Blue has the same sprite he had in HG/SS (even though he’s in the Champion tournament) show up as part of the Pokemon World Tournament.
– X and Y happens either concurrent with the events of B/W 2 or shortly after by some of the dialogue I’ve come across so far. Blue is also supposedly roaming the region, which might mean he’s given up his position as a Gym Leader, thus explaining his position in the tournament.
So we’re already experiencing a temporal paradox here and griping about Gen VI Pokes showing up when it doesn’t change things that much more is a little silly.
Unless you’re worried about spoilers, which is kind of a valid point, but all the Pokemon shown thus far had been publicly revealed before X and Y launched.
Blah blah, i’m late. But this steen battle mode!? FUCKING
