What’s Going YN?
Hey there, Yonkies.
I’m sure that some among you have noticed the lack of updates. Some of those some might even be wondering whether or not that is going to change anytime soon. Well, for those curious souls among you, I’m here with some things that might be called “answers”. Or maybe not, you’ll see.
Contrary to what it most likely seems like, I am indeed working on Yonkoma Nuzlocke.
I haven’t been for the entire duration of this newest hiatus, no, but I sure have been for a while. However, being the #1 person sick of the long unexpected breaks, I don’t want to resume updates until I am confident I’ve found a way to avoid those. This is not the first time I’m saying something like this and you might be wondering if anything is going to be different this time around. And unexpectedly, it just might be. I don’t want to disclose any details yet, but let’s just say the… negotiations seem to be going well.
Collective gasp! What does that mean?
Well, it’s no coincidence my self-insert character is called “The Author” and not, say, “The Artist”, but do calm down. There’s still no guarantee of anything. In fact, that’s the reason I hesitated to write this post for so long. I didn’t want to get your hopes up until everything is 100% confirmed, which it still isn’t. But at this point you deserve to have something. You deserve to at least know that your wait will eventually pay off, one way or another. And maybe part of it is for my own sake – so that even if, God forbid, this newest plan doesn’t work out after all, you will at least be aware that I have indeed been trying and not just sitting around playing games and eating banana ice cream.
So what does this post amount to, really? It’s all pretty vague, I know. So let me leave you with one concrete thing: no matter what happens, I will bring you up to speed again on October 10th. I might have good news, bad news, mixed news or maybe even nothing new to say beyond reiterating what I’ve said in this post. But I don’t want to keep you in the dark, so expect to hear something from me then.
And thanks for caring at all. It actually means a lot.
We’ll see you then! Glad to hear you’re ok, that’s the most important thing.
